LA Pride Festival

Whether you’re gay, straight, rainbow-striped or just love a party, you’ll have a blast at LA Pride. One of America’s biggest Pride events, attracting half a million people to West Hollywood Park, it shakes its booty on the weekend of 10-11 June, flanked by fab music, art, and community events. Expect hotness, hugs and good times galore…

Snap up one-day or weekend tickets for Pride’s alfresco gig, with the talent line-up including Brandy (R&B), Chromeo (EDM), Young M.A. (hip-hop), Brooke Candy (electropop), and Aaron Carter and Leon Else (pop), among other dance-friendly divas. Dress up and wave those hands in the air.

LGBT Night at Dodger Stadium (9 Jun) is one for baseball fans, hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers. It’s the official kick-off party for Pride, from 5.30pm at the Right Field Plaza Bar until first pitch at 7.10pm. You can also bag tickets just for the game against Cincinnati Reds, including a special Dodger LGBT T-shirt. Golden Globe-winning actor and activist Matt Bomer will take the ceremonial first pitch, with DJs during the bash, and fans invited onto the field for fireworks after the game.

Prefer getting in on the action yourself? Pride Is Universal at Universal Studios (9 Jun), takes over the theme park at night (9pm-1am), with heart-pounding rides, shows and attractions, including The Simpsons Ride, AMC’s The Walking Dead and Fast & Furious – Supercharged. DJs, dance venues, character meet-and-greets, and cash bars add to the fun. Tickets include day-time general access beforehand (9am-9pm). Party on!
